Are we likely to be the right agency for you?
Most of the permanent roles we recruit for require a recognised early childhood qualification, appropriate Australian work rights and relevant experience. Some requirements vary depending on whether you are seeking an educator, teaching or leadership position.
Core requirements
Most permanent opportunities require an ACECQA-approved Certificate III, Diploma or early childhood teaching qualification, or an ACECQA assessment already in progress.
Candidates also need Australian work rights that do not require employer sponsorship, together with a current Working with Children Check or eligibility to obtain one.
Experience and availability
We generally recruit for candidates who already have relevant early childhood experience and are seeking permanent employment, whether full-time or part-time.
Your preferred location, realistic travel area and availability also help us determine which opportunities may genuinely suit you.
Requirements that vary by role
Teaching positions may require current state teacher registration. Leadership roles may require previous service-management, Nominated Supervisor or team-leadership experience.
First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training may also be required before commencement, depending on the position.
Unsure whether you meet every requirement?
You are still welcome to register your interest. Tell us where you are currently at and we will give you a straightforward answer.
Visa sponsorship and migration support – important information
We aim to be transparent from the outset so you can make informed decisions about your job search.
We are not able to assist with visa sponsorship or migration pathways. The early childhood services we partner with do not generally offer visa sponsorship arrangements, and we do not provide immigration or visa advice.
Where recruitment support is provided, a recruitment fee applies (paid by the employer), which is standard practice across the recruitment sector. For this reason, we may not be the right agency to support your situation if sponsorship or a visa-based pathway is required at this time.
If your work rights or visa status changes in the future and you become eligible to work without sponsorship, we would be happy to reconnect and explore suitable opportunities with you then.
Further thinking for early childhood professionals
Making a career move in early childhood is not just about finding another role. It is about understanding the service, the leadership style, the expectations, and whether the opportunity will genuinely support the kind of educator, teacher or leader you want to become.
How to know if an early childhood role is genuinely right for you
A practical guide to looking beyond the job title, pay rate and location so you can assess whether a service is likely to be a good fit.
Why a paid trial can save you from the wrong early childhood job
Understand why job trials matter, and how both services and educators can approach them more effectively.
The importance of environment in supporting educator and child wellbeing
The environments where children and educators work and play are crucial to the way we feel, the way we think, and the way we behave.
